All children will be focusing on learning about Autumn, this will include mixing colours, watching the colour change of the leaves and exploring pumpkins.
Like every year, we will be holding our annual Pumpkin carving competition! Please ensure your competition entries are in by Wednesday 28th October. There will be a special prize for the winner! Happy carving
This week the children began learning about our new topic, Space. They have enjoyed writing letters to the aliens and reading stories about space.
We are starting outings again and have already been on a nature hunt, the children were so excited to collect conkers, acorns, sticks and leaves which they have been using in their play! If any parents would like to withdraw their permission for their child to attend any trips during this time please ensure you let a member of management know.
This weekend is World mental health day, we have been teaching the children about talking positively about themselves and their friends. We would like you all to continue this at home and speak to them about their feelings and emotions.
The nursery has recently set up being a part of the Healthy Early Years London scheme. We will be reviewing our menus and will keep you all updated with the process.
For those children who will be leaving us to go to school in September, please remember your school applications must be in by January 2021.
As some of you might already be aware there have been a series of attempted kidnappings in Essex recently. Although, as far as we are aware they haven’t been too local, we wanted to inform you so you can be extra vigilant whilst out and about with your children.
We’re really sad to announce that Isha will be leaving us at the end of October, I’m sure you will all join us in thanking her for all of her hard work and commitment over the last 3 years!
