Rising stars would like to welcome Elle to the team. Elle is a level 3 qualified nursery practitioner and she will be supporting children and staff in all rooms.
Please ensure you read the upcoming events as we have had to alter them slightly to accommodate all children.
For the rest of the term all children will be learning about Christmas and continue their topic on winter. The children will be encouraged to be creative with colours and textures and taking part in a variety of exciting activities.
This year we have the Elf joining the children at nursery, his name is Buster the Elf (name chosen by the children!) The Elf will be up to all kinds of mischief throughout the lead up to Christmas.
Unfortunately due to the restrictions this year we are unable to invite you in for our usual nativity. Instead we are hoping to film a Christmas carol with all children. They have already been practising their songs and are so excited to share it with you all! Please see attached a permission form to allow for your child to be videoed. If you cannot return the form to the nursery please confirm whether you give permission or not via email. Please can all permissions be returned by Friday 4th December 2020. For anyone who wishes to give out Christmas cards this year, please ensure they are all posted in the nursery post box before Tuesday 15th December so we can make sure all children receive theirs before they break up for Christmas. If you require a list of names please feel free to let me know.
Thank you to those who previously completed the questionnaires. All feedback is important to us to ensure we are providing the highest quality of care and always meeting your expectations. I have attached another questionnaire with updated areas of feedback, I would appreciate if you could all complete at your earliest convenience.
Finally, I would just like to say a big thank you to you all for helping the nursery get through this difficult year. We all appreciate your continued support and hope to have a successful year in 2021.
