We hope you have all had a great Summer, we’re excited for you all to be back for a new and exciting term! If you have been on any trips or holidays, please send us in any photos so we can let the children share their experiences with their friends.
Firstly, we would like to welcome Alana to our baby unit! The children will be taking part in lots of arts and crafts activities to develop their role play area into an ‘Under the Sea theme.’ They will be exploring lots of natural resources such as sand, shells and pebbles. If you go to the beach/seaside, please collect some resources for the children to use in their play!
Plum children will be learning about their new topic ‘Café’ where they will be re-enacting real life experiences and continuing healthy eating to encourage them to try new foods and be independent during mealtimes. Please collect any menus or take photos of cafés you see when you are out.
The children in the Cherry room will be learning about their new topic ‘Travel agents,’ they will be taking trips to local Travel agents and collecting brochures. The children will be learning about where we are from around the world and where they have visited. If you go on holiday, please collected some postcards/leaflets for the children to explore.
The children are continuing to learn their Letters and Sounds, their letter of the month is ‘P.’ See if you can find something with them beginning with ‘P’ to bring into nursery for a show and tell.
